Nathalie was raised in Southend-on-Sea, Essex, England, to a father from Saint Lucian and English heritage and an mother with Dominican origin. Nathalie attributes her desire to become an actor from the beginning to her mother. In the West End, she was selected to portray Young Nala as she was 10-years-old.
