She got her first role as an actor supporting the character the movie Basic Instinct. It was the beginning of her successful profession. In the 90s Gwyneth collaborated together with Hugh Grant on Mickey Blue Eyes and Julie Andrews for Relative Values. She was the role of Dr. Alex Blake on the popular international police procedural thriller Criminal Minds.
