Candice is an American actor who achieved the heights of fame playing Caroline Forbes on the popular CW show The Vampire Diaries. While Candice achieved fame for her acting skills, she started out her career as a singer. She released her debut album 'It's Always the Innocent People' in the United States. Twelve of the fourteen songs in the album were written by her. She worked simultaneously on both her acting skills as well as being a guest on two TV series including How I Met Your Mother. Although her career went well however, it wasn't until The Vampire Diaries that she got her big break. In a matter of minutes, the show became her a household name. Candice King's outstanding performance and acting were acknowledged. She played the same role for all eight seasons which ran for 171 seasons. She reprised her character in the spin-off show The Originals and in 2021, Legacies.
